Sense of direction
February 22nd, 2003 | No Comments | Filed in OutdoorsToday wasn’t powerboating, that’s on Monday. Today me and three others took some kids orienteering and doing archery. The kids had mostly done these activities before so we just told them not to point arrows at each other and let them get on with it. They managed quite to get lost in the woods too, not sure how since you can see right through the woods and out the other side and they had maps.
Plugged my Gamecube into the telly in the telly room and played some Monkeyball and Burnout. I’ve almost unlocked one of the Monkeyball sub-games. Animal Crossing’s realtime thing is clever too it’d be nice if the snow went away. Even up here the snow has gone now. I found someone wandering around and said ‘hello’ to them, but I must still be missing someone since the stupid raccoon that runs the store says so. I also owe him a lot of money for my house. Animal Crossing is a very strange game, you can’t explain it to other people because it sounds like you’re on drugs when you try :) I picked up a load of shells off the beach, but I don’t know what to do with them.
These carpet tiles are getting on my nerves, they keep moving apart. I need to find a staple-gun to join them all together with or glue them to the floor, but the people who own this place might object. Maybe I’ll shove them in the bathroom out the way. If I find some carpet that’s not gone mouldy I’m having it.
