You can now log into my diary using your Livejournal username! When asked to log in here, type in the URL of your own personal Livejournal page into the OpenID section.

So if you are “Bobsmith” at Livejournal, just put in http://bobsmith.livejournal.com into the OpenID box and hit “Login”. You’ll then be taken to your Livejournal page to verify the login.

I do not store your passwords or have access to your user account you are safe, do not be afraid.

It uses OpenID which is a clever way of allowing sites to validate each others’ users without sending passwords and logins around. I’m protected, you’re protected, everyone’s happy and nobody gets spam
